Loads of celebrations are happening at The Hall for Chinese New Year to bring in the Year of the Snake.
We are lucky to have such brilliant parent volunteers who have helped make the celebrations extra special for the boys.
Throughout the week, they’ve put on shows to teach reception about Chinese New Year. They have helped with creating a fun learning experience on the holiday full of art, food, and dance.
Our catering manager has made sure the celebrations were extra special with a Chinese New Year feast of featuring beef in black bean sauce, Chinese chicken, spring rolls, stir-fry, and tinned mandarins.
Those born in the Year of the Snake are said to be intelligent, intuitive, and wise just like a serpent. They are also thoughtful and very ambitious.
恭喜发财 (gōng xǐ fā cái) – May you be happy and prosperous!
