The Director of Music will lead, direct and manage all aspects of the Music Department across the Junior, Middle and Senior Schools ensuring continuity and progression across the year groups.
Music plays an integral part in school life with over 95 % of boys playing at least one instrument and 50 ensembles across the three sites. Recent concerts have taken place at St John’s Smith Square and the Royal Festival Hall and there is scope for the successful candidate to build upon and further develop the existing music programme.
You will be academically well-qualified with a degree in music and performance-level proficiency in at least one instrument. In addition you should have experience of leading and conducting orchestras, choirs and ensemble groups.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate strong management and organisational skills.
