We are looking for an enthusiastic Kitchen Porter to join our busy department. The candidate must be flexible in their approach to work, with no two days the same and a variety of tasks to undertake.
This role is full time, 52 weeks per year, 9:00am to 5:00pm. During School holidays the post holder will be required to assist with the Maintenance Team and in other areas of School support.
Main Kitchen Porter duties for both options will include a variety of cleaning and manual duties in the School’s kitchen and buildings such as cleaning of equipment and rooms, unloading deliveries, heavy lifting and carrying, emptying waste stores and general porterage duties.
The successful candidate will have experience of working in a similar role and the ability to speak and understand English to accurately follow health and safety instruction and training. Experience of basic cooking would also be advantageous as some light prep work may be required. Training and uniform will be provided.
