Last Wednesday, boys were delighted to participate in an exhilarating and interactive workshop put on by The School Food Showdown.
They learned the importance of healthy eating, the necessary benefits of each food group, and how to cook delicious food. Then two groups competed against each other to see who could create the tastiest cuisine.
This workshop has been proven to have a positive impact on healthy eating in schools, helping students make healthy choices that they can take into adulthood. According to feedback stats from The School Food Showdown, 91% of pupils are inspired to cook healthy foods following the workshop. The smiles on our pupils’ faces prove this to be true!
Enrichment days have been in full force lately at The Hall. Participating in new experiences and learning from them is what Hall boys take away from enrichment, which is why they are crucial in our curriculum.
