Pilanesberg National Park was the setting for a couple of days of exploration and fun. We stayed in a marvellous lodge within beautifully maintained grounds, with its own waterhole right next to the restaurant, at which elephant regularly drank and bathed as we had breakfast. Over two days we went on three game drives to see ‘the big five’, as well as visiting Dr. Steyn’s favourite waterpark at Sun City and enjoying a drumming workshop.
