Having flown into Cape Town the previous evening, we began Day 5 by taking the cable car up to the top of Table Mountain. We wandered around the plateau in our groups, admiring the stunning views of coast and city in every direction, though not a single glimpse did we catch of the famous dassies (rock hyrax). After lunch it was off to the Hugo Lambrechts Music Centre for a lovely concert with musicians joining together in several brass ensembles.
